silver nitrate was dissolved in hot water and redissolved in an aqueous solution of ammonium sulfate. After filtration and heating, the hot solution was added to the hot silver nitrate solution. After cooling, the Silver sulfate crystals were filtered off by suction, washed with water and dried.
